Farming is how better recipes stay stocked. Quests and an early cash unlock both get mentioned; follow whichever prompt is actually on your screen, then grow only what the menu sells.
First harvests
- Plant fast crops while you still need recipe unlocks and milestone counts. Wheat is the short cycle. Carrots and potatoes are also named as fast early plants.
- Add pumpkin once soup or pie is the plate you want to sell.
- Open Skills, then Milestones. Farming Tier 1 is reported as 1,000 harvests and pays two Basic Sprinklers. You claim them from that milestone. No shop purchase is required for the first pair.
- The windmill is a later farming milestone at 25,000 harvested crops. A greenhouse that doubles nearby crops is described at 400,000 harvests.
Place sprinklers so the plants you care about are inside the watered area. A basic sprinkler is described as a 3x3. If a plant never speeds up, it is probably one tile outside that square.
Bees and honey
Honey is the ingredient that turns pumpkin and milk into pie instead of soup.
| Hive | Bees | Honey storage | Slots |
|---|---|---|---|
| Beehive | 3 | 20 | 1 |
| Giant Beehive | 6 | 60 | 2 |
Farming placements on a plot are capped at 12 units in these guides. Each giant hive uses 2, so a plot of only giants tops out around six, not twelve. A regular hive is the starter. Giants are the endgame piece because they store triple the honey and are described as roughly two to three times faster, with larger bees that help nearby plants. Put hives next to the pumpkin patch you are actually harvesting, and set them to a low worker priority so they keep producing when cooks are busy.
One update note also raises a beehive limit to 12 beehives specifically. That can mean the 12-unit plot cap, or a separate hive cap. Count the number the shop shows on your plot before you buy a row of giants.
Processing sits beside the farm: milk to cheese, wheat to flour, and in some update notes sugarcane to sugar. Drink machines are a separate station for coconut, pineapple, and sugarcane blends once those crops exist for you. Ingredient pages are under materials.
